Stylekorean: Labiotte Wine Eyeshadow Palette Review

Hi! Today I'm going to be reviewing this gorgeous eye shadow palette from Château Labiotte. This Wine Eye Shadow Palette in Sweet Wine is infused with real wine extracts from France. It contains 8 pink and red shades ideal for that 'Sweet' Romantic/Feminine look.

Where to buy: stylekorean.com available HERE
Price: USD 26.17 20.93 or Php 1,013

The eye shadow palette comes in this pretty burgundy packaging with the word 'Labiotte" embellished in classy gold  font.

This palette contains 8 rosy toned shades, a wide mirror, and a dual sided brush.

The eye shadows in this palette have different textures and finishes. There are matte, glitter, and pearlescent shades to create depth and complexity.

The brush included in this palette is a good one. The fluffy brush on one side is great for blending while smaller one is great for packing color.

Here are the swatches of the 8 colors on my arm. Note that the one top is applied with a primer underneath.

FINAL THOUGHTS

I have this impression that Korean eye shadows are weak in pigmentation, their matte shades are chalky and sheer. That impression kind of made me steer clear from getting any Korean eye shadows. From having a really low expectation, I think this palette changed that.

The shades in this palette are beautiful and pigmented. Well except for the first shade which is a light matte beige color that barely does anything, everything else are pigmented. I love that it has glitter/shimmery and matte shades that allows you to create different looks. The shimmery pink and rosy shades are perfect for everyday look while the red shade in this palette is to die for! A glittery dark red-tone brown is included at the end of the palette to balance the other colors.

If you're trying to achieve that 'Sweet' Romantic makeup, this palette is perfect for you. I definitely felt more feminine with the warm rosy shades.

Below is a photo of me wearing mostly all the colors in the palette. I also used the matte red shade as blush color. Don't you think I achieved the Sweet Romantic look here?
